Andy’s Pregame Thoughts: Jamie picked up over $30,000 yesterday thanks to her knowledge of 1970s music and an aggressive bet in Final Jeopardy!; today she faces Kalee and Steve. Jamie did have the buzzer timing reasonably locked in, getting in first 20 times yesterday, that should serve her well today.
One further note: A couple of days ago, I made a comment in my Andy’s Thoughts section calling on the show to ask for and release contestants’ pronouns. I have since heard from multiple contestants on this point; this season, the show has begun asking for pronouns — this is an excellent first step. I would like to see pronouns released by the show going forward in their Contestant Zone section.
PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to get their vaccinations as soon as they are able to. When wearing a mask, ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

Andorra is a co-principality in the Pyrenees Mountains between Spain and France; the co-princes are the Bishop of Urgell and the President of France. Andorra itself claims to be the last of the “Marca Hispanica” buffer states created by Charlemagne to keep the Moors from advancing into France. The anthem itself is titled “El Gran Carlemany”.

- Thus far, $102,399 has been donated by Jeopardy! to Media Fellowship House. $1,094,526 has been donated to all charities thus far.
- While it risks not being able to play Final Jeopardy, there was exactly one good bet in Steve’s position on the final Daily Double, that being “bet everything”. To me, still having a chance to win the game greatly outweighs being able to play Final Jeopardy.
